Tax Preparation Fee – New Client Information

Pricing for our tax preparation services varies based on each client’s specific tax situation. The final price depends on the complexity of the tax returns, the number of schedules, and additional items included with consideration of the time spent preparing the return.

Our baseline tax prep fee for clients who are married filing jointly starts at $675; for clients who file single, the fee starts at $550. The baseline is for a basic return and includes a federal tax return and one state.

To provide a more accurate estimate, we would need to review your prior year’s tax returns. We base our estimate on what we would charge if we prepared the returns. If your situation has remained the same, it will be a fairly accurate estimate. If your situation has changed, with resulting tax implications, the final fee could be different as it would be adjusted accordingly.

We have a high level of client satisfaction with both our tax prep services and communicating ongoing tax-saving strategies. Our fee covers questions and/or requests for advice that our clients may have throughout the year as well as our suggestions for financial planning to make sure you are on the best path for financial success. We do not charge for time spent on telephone calls with you or certain administrative services.
